Welcome to FitIQ Junior OCR & Ninja Club, where every young person is encouraged, respected, and challenged, regardless of their fitness level or experience. This isn’t just about getting active. It’s about becoming stronger in body and mind, building confidence, and being part of something real.

Our sessions blend obstacle course racing, strength training, movement skills, and mental wellbeing. All of it takes place in The Tunnel, our inclusive, purpose-built training space.

At FitIQ, there’s no expectation when a young person walks through the door. We focus on the individual, work at their pace, and help them discover what they’re capable of in a safe and supportive environment.

Our training centre isn’t just a gym. It’s a space where national champions train alongside first-timers. A place where every child is treated with belief, care and challenge, whatever their background, identity or starting point.

What You’ll Experience at FitIQ Junior OCR & Ninja Club

Where Potential Meets Purpose
At FitIQ, we’ve built one of the UK’s most advanced obstacle training centres. Inside The Tunnel, 25 custom-designed rigs inspired by UK, European and World OCR Championships develop the core disciplines of elite-level movement. These include Toroz rigs, rope climbs, wall runs, monkey bars, cheese boards, firefighter walls, Olympic rings, wheel to wheel transitions, lache bars, balance beams and more. Every challenge is designed to build strength, skill, control and resilience one step at a time.

This isn’t soft play. It’s structured, progressive training designed for young people who want more. Every session develops strength, control, focus, and performance. We help children prepare for life in sport, and for the discipline life demands.

Pathway to Performance
OCR is one of the fastest-growing sports globally. Now included in the Modern Pentathlon and soon to debut at the Olympics, it’s a serious sport with serious opportunities. At FitIQ, we’re developing the next generation of athletes; juniors who compete nationally and internationally, and who train with purpose and pride.

Our sessions are led by Lou Ferriman (4× World OCR Champion) and Shylla Duhaney (UK Ninja Warrior, Top UK OCR athlete, 100m finalist). Together, they offer elite-level coaching in an environment that values commitment, consistency, and character as much as competition.

The Tunnel is the UK's first and only indoor OCR & Ninja Training centre of its kind and is fully accredited by British Obstacle Sports.
